First Time Setup

This first-time setup guide will ensure that you have access to all of the Indicators as well as have them properly set up for immediate use.

Adding Indicators

1

Open Tradingview and open any chart.

In this example, we are using the BTCUSDT pair on the Binance Exchange.

2

At the top of the screen click on the box called indicators.

A popup menu should appear labeled Indicators, Metrics, and Strategies.

3

At the bottom of the menu on the left side, click on the tab labeled Invite-Only Scripts.

Clicking on Invite-Only Scripts will show you all of the scripts you have been granted access to. Ensure that the following indicators are authored by TrendmasterOfficial

  • Trendmaster - Auto Charting Tool
  • Trendmaster - Core Trend
  • Trendmaster - Harmony Oscillator
  • Trendmaster - Liquidations
  • Trendmaster - Collated Funding
  • Trendmaster - Crypto On-Chain Metrics
  • Trendmaster - Multi Dimensional Volume Delta
  • Trendmaster - Crypo Flow Index
4

Click on each Trendmaster indicator that you wish to use and it will be added to your chart.

Now that the indicators have been added to your chart, you can immediately use them however we recommend continuing with the Clean Chart section below.

Clean Chart

This section will remove all of the individual values that appear at the top of your chart and help keep your chart clean.

  • Click on the Gear/Sprocket at the top right corner of the chart to open up the Chart Settings popup menu.
  • With the Chart Settings popup menu open, scroll to the tab named Status-Line
  • In this submenu look for the checkboxes titled Indicator Arguments and Indicator Values and uncheck those 2 boxes.
  • Unchecking these values will greatly decrease the amount of clutter on your chart and help prevent “Study Errors” from the Indicators.

Troubleshooting

Indicator Study Errors

  • Any errors with the script will show as a Red Exclamation mark next to the indicators.
  • The nature of the error will show up if you hold your cursor over the Red Exclamation
  • The 2 most common error messages are; study_not_auth and study_error.
  • If the indicator says study_not_auth check on your subscription status to the indicators and contact support through email or the official Discord.
  • If the indicator says study_error simply remove the indicator from your chart and attempt to re-add the indicator by following the Adding the Trendmaster Indicators to Your Tradingview Chart section above.
  • If study_error still shows after you have removed and re-added the indicator then attempt to open a new web browser and potentially clear your internet cache and check your internet connection.
  • A slow internet connection and personal computer issues can also cause a failure showing study_error.
  • If the study_error persists you will need to contact Tradingview technical support and as always feel free to contact Trendmaster customer support.
