This quick setup guide will walk you through how to quickly set up our 3 indicators - Core Signals, Auto Charting Tools & The Harmony Oscillator.
Trendmaster is developed in a programming language called Pine Script, which is exclusive to TradingView. TradingView is an online charting website that allows you to create charts. You need free account with TradingView to use Trendmaster. Use the link below to signup for a free TradingView account (also contains a discount should you ever want to get TradingView Pro, Pro+ or Premium.
To set up Trendmaster for the first time open up a blank chart, in this example we are using the BTCUSDT pair on the Binance Exchange. Once that is open click on the box called indicators, on the left side of the menu click on the tab called “Invite-only Scripts”Then click on the indicators titled - Trendmaster Auto Charting Tool, Trendmaster Core Signals & Trendmaster Harmony Oscillator. There should be a green padlock symbol next to the indicator. This green padlock indicates that you have an active subscription to the Trendmaster and have access to the script. If it is a red coloured padlock, double check on the status of your subscription and contact support either via email or through the official Discord. Once you have clicked on both of the indicators you should see them appear at the top left of your chart.
Now that you have both indicators added to your chart you need to look at the top right corner of the chart for what appears to be a gear or a sprocket. Click on this symbol to open up general chart settings. With this settings menu open scroll down to the tab called Status-Line and uncheck the boxes for “Indicator Arguments” and “Indicator Values”. Unchecking these values will greatly decrease the amount of clutter on your chart and help prevent “Study Errors” from the Indicators.
Any errors with the script will show as a “Red Exclamation” mark next to the indicators. The nature of the error will show up if you hold your cursor over the “Red Exclamation” mark with the 2 most common error messages being; study_not_auth and study_error. If the indicator says study_not_auth check on your subscription status to the indicators and contacts support through email or the official Discord. If the indicator says study_error simply remove the indicator from your chart and attempt to re-add the indicator. If study_error still shows after you have removed and re-added the indicator then attempt to open a new web browser and potentially clear your internet cache.
